As the construction industry increasingly demands high-quality specialty gypsum—such as high-strength gypsum, dental gypsum, and specialty additives—the customer needed to upgrade its traditional gypsum powder processing to achieve finer particle size and a narrower distribution.

Key Challenges
- Ultrafine Classification Target
The existing gypsum powder (feed size ≈ 600 mesh) needed further precision classification to obtain ultrafine products meeting the stringent requirement of D97: 5 μm.
- Capacity Requirement
The system had to achieve a stable output of 1,500 kg/h (1.5 t/h) while maintaining extremely high classification accuracy.

Technical Features
The ITC classifier is designed specifically for difficult-to-classify and easily agglomerated ultrafine powders. It uses precisely controlled airflow in combination with a high-speed turbine classifying wheel to achieve extremely accurate particle size cuts.
